78 desktop client
The ZIP contains the client, launcher and Java runtime. Server access requires an internet connection.
Extract 78-setup.zip, then open Play 78.bat from the extracted folder. The client updates itself after that.
Start in three steps
Download the ZIP, extract the entire folder, then double-click Play 78.bat. Keep the client and Java folder together.

Do I need to install Java?
No. The Windows ZIP includes its own Java runtime in the jre folder. Keep it beside client.jar and Play 78.bat.
How do I open the client?
Download 78-setup.zip, right-click it and choose Extract All. Open the extracted folder, then double-click Play 78.bat. Run the launcher from the extracted folder.
The download or launcher did not finish. What can I check?
Retry the download if it was interrupted. Extract the complete ZIP and check that the launcher, client.jar and jre folder are together. If Windows shows a security warning, verify the official source and file details before deciding whether to run it.
How do I create an account?
When you have server access, log in through the client with an unused username. Use a unique password of 5–20 letters and digits, different from your username. Read the first-login guide →
Can I use macOS, Linux or my phone?
This download is packaged for 64-bit Windows. Other platform downloads are not currently offered here, and browser play remains in development.
Is the public season open, and where can I get help?
78 is still in development and the public season launch has not been announced. Join the official Discord through the community page for updates and help getting started. Never share passwords or authentication codes.
